Applications I will use

In order to make my news broadcast, I will use two different programs, they will be GarageBand and Synergy. I will use GarageBand in order to make the news jingle as this is a piece of software that will enable me to incorporate different sounds into the jingle. I will then use synergy in order to record the talking within the show. I will use this program as it is designed specifically for radio broadcasts. I will then return to GarageBand in order to edit the pieces together.

For the voice recordings I will use the radio equipment we have available to us, as this will offer a clarity of speech and make the dialogue sound more professional. For the outside recordings, I will use a standard voice recorder as this is easy to transport and gain the outside broadcasts that I need. This piece of equipment will also mean that these particular sections of the broadcast will sound like they have been recorded outside, making the overall piece sound far more believable and realistic.
